1. Is there are
fee/charge for creating a profile, posting my resume, or applying
for positions on the website?
No. SCHealthJobs.net is a free service offered to individuals seeking
careers in healthcare in SC hospitals. The hospitals throughout SC
pay for the site to be able to view resumes of qualified candidates
and post their available jobs.
2. Who can view my information (resume) once my account is created?
Hospital recruiters in South Carolina are the only people who have
access to view resumes posted to the website. Your information will
not be given out to a third party, or to anyone who is not directly
employed by a hospital in South Carolina. Also, your information is
given only to the Human Resource recruiters and/or hiring managers,
so not all hospital staff are able to view your information.
3. Should I let the hospital recruiter who contacts me know
that I have posted my resume on SCHealthJobs.net?
Yes. It is important that the recruiter be able to trace where the
candidate heard about the open position. This will also allow the
recruiter to pull your resume directly off of the website.
4. Who is the South Carolina Hospital Association?
The South Carolina Hospital Association (SCHA) is a member association
for SC hospitals. We work with our hospitals to assist in areas of
legislation, workforce, and other critical issues facing SC hospitals.
5. How long should I expect to wait after posting my resume to receive
contact from hospitals?
The turn around time for contact varies from hospital to hospital,
but feel free to post your resume on SCHealthJobs.net and also link
to the individual hospital websites to get more information about
a certain facility/position.
6. What should I do if I notice a problem with the website
or my information?
If you discover that there is a technical problem with the website
or are having difficulty completing your profile, please contact:
