We're with you for life…
On a hot August day in 1921, on a hill at the edge of Spartanburg, a four-story hospital opened its doors to the public. Spartanburg General is now Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, the anchor of one of South Carolina's largest community-based, not-for-profit healthcare systems.
Spartanburg Regional Medical Center (SRMC) still occupies its original place on the hill – now at the heart of the city. Committed to addressing the healthcare issues that affect the thousands of residents throughout the five-county region of Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union in South Carolina and Rutherford and Polk in North Carolina, Spartanburg Regional's 4700 employees take health care beyond the hospital walls and into the community, businesses and homes every day.
Employee satisfaction is a high priority and as a member of the Spartanburg Regional team, employees will enjoy benefits such as:
•Flexible work schedules
•Educational assistance
•Employee childcare
•Paid time off
•Health, dental and life insurance
•And much more!
Spartanburg Regional's rich history, Centers of Excellence, innovative products and services, and outstanding employees support its overall mission-to provide top quality healthcare to all people, regardless of circumstance. At Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, "We're with you for life."
